With a B.A in contemporary music and passion for his craft there's nothing he can't play. Originally from Northern NSW and the lead guitarist for Foo Foo in the UK, A-Man has settled into Melbourne's vibrant music scene and has played in many original bands that have shared the stage with the likes of Evermore, Screaming Jets, Diesel, Baby Animals, Rose Tattoo, James Reyne, Vanessa Amarosi, Colin Hay, Ross Wilson, The Angels, Electric Mary and many more. Always watch out for the quiet ones.

What is a band without some hard rocking, funky bass? After a brief stint with "The Pigeons", Hawk co foundered the successful UK Cover Band 'Foo Foo' which played the London pub and corporate scene for 5 years before he and is brother Graham (G-Rock) returned to Melbourne and formed AFTERBURN. Hawk and Wil have been playing together as a rhythm section for many years and help make AFTERBURN the super tight, party rock outfit they are today.

AFTERBURN and Pseudo Echo played the Lexus Centre to raise money for the Kinglake Kids who lost their homes and their Kindergarten during the Black Saturday fires. AFTERBURN rocked the house and were proud to donate their time and share the stage with the boys from Pseudo Echo.

Jess and I would like to say thank you.

From the very first time Jess and I contacted you, you responded promptly and were very flexible which was important for Jess and I given we live In Queensland.

The first time we met with you and the boys at your private studio you made Jess and I feel very welcome and more importantly once you guys started playing you had us tapping our feet and singing along. We were blown away with how fantastic you guys sounded. Needless to say we booked Afterburn very quickly to be the entertainment on our Wedding Day.

In the lead up to our Wedding you came up with some fantastic suggestions in particular Rob singing while the girls and Jess walked down the isle and then played acoustic for our guests while we were off having photo's taken. These suggestions were absolutely perfect given we were getting married on the roof top at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron. Not only did you come up with these suggestions you and the boys also learnt some special songs to perform on our Wedding day which was absolutely fantastic.

Rob nailed "Have I Told You Lately" while the ladies and Jess walked down the isle and I must admit I had goose bumps which I am sure I wasn't the only person that did.

Afterburn entertained our guests with some acoustic music on the rooftop and had all of our guests tearing up the dance floor during our reception.

Jess and I have had so many compliments on our band and we have had a number of our guests ask for your contact details which we were very happy to provide.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Afterburn to anyone.

Thank you once again to you and the Afterburn crew on making our Wedding day even more special.

The mix of music was great and both you and the bands enthusiasm and energy, really got the event "kicking", not an easy task to achieve with a room of 300 odd corporate types. AFTERBURN
“Melbourne’s hottest party band”

Afterburn Band = 6 (includes 1 crew)

Food:

Minimum 2 course meal requirement:

Entrée & main course meal

Inclusive of salad & bread rolls

Main course & dessert

Inclusive of salad & bread rolls

(Note: Band meals to be served 30 minutes prior to Main course for guests if possible as band may be playing background music during main meals prefers to not eat then play immediately)

Beverage:

Soft drink & water for set up crew

Soft drink & water for event duration

12 x Beers, 1 x bottle of red wine, 1 x bottle of white wine & 1 x bottle of Jack Daniels would be appreciated

Band Room:

A private area for changing, storing of music cases, etc is required

Band can have meals in private room or can also be sat amongst guests on their own private table. Table should be located as close as possible to stage

Staging:

Staging, adequate power source are client / bookers responsibility

Ideal stage area is 6m x 4m but band is flexible and will adapt to space.

An adequate power source is required.

Car parking and access to difficult venues is to be negotiated in advance for musicians and crew.

Please provide parking for 1 x vehicle and equipment trailer as close as possible to venue and stage location.
